Original Recipe serves 2, suitable for sharing among 4 during the Lunar New Year festivities.
Ingredients:
1 block Firm tofu
1/2 tablespoon Garlic or Ginger, minced
Coriander, to taste (Note: Coriander can be replaced with scallions.)
Seasoning:
5g Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 teaspoon Black Salt
A dash of Black Pepper (Kala Namak)
Instructions:
Crumble the tofu, squeezing out as much excess water as possible and discarding it.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté the minced garlic or ginger until fragrant, then add the crumbled tofu. Stir-fry, then add the turmeric powder and continue to stir-fry until evenly coated.
Once the liquid in the skillet has evaporated, add salt, coriander (or scallions), and black pepper. Mix well and serve.
